At Turning Point, our Court Advocates are committed to helping clients navigate the judicial system in the wake of domestic violence and abuse. 

Our Court Advocacy Program offers services for shelter and outreach clients that include:

● Accompaniment for survivors reporting crimes to law enforcement

● Child Custody/Child Support
● Crime Victims Compensation
● Victim Impact Statement assistance
● Safe at Home Program
● Accompaniment to court for client support

Although our Court Advocates are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice, they are familiar with the paperwork and processes of the court journey. They can offer assistance with filing court documents, discuss options, and explain the processes so clients can determine the course of action that is best for them.
